OZARK PARKS AND RECREATION

Ozark, Missouri's Parks and Recreation department offers a wide array of facilities and programs that enhance the quality of life for its residents and visitors. Parks 

• Finley River Park 

• • Located along the scenic Finley River, this park is a community favorite. It features a river walk trail, picnic areas, playgrounds, sports fields, and pavilions. This park is the hub of Ozark Parks and Recreation’s youth sports leagues. The park also hosts several events and festivals, such as the annual Sertoma Duck Race and Utopia Club Craft Fair.

• Neal Grubaugh Park 

• • This park is known for its inclusive playground, outdoor swimming pool, and disc golf course. Enjoy a walk along the trail connecting the playground and pool down to the Christian County Library and the Finley River Park

Recreational Facilities 

• The OC (Ozark Community Center) 

• • A comprehensive community center that includes a fitness center, indoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, and meeting rooms. The OC offers a variety of fitness classes, sports leagues, and community programs. 

• Trails throughout the City

• • Take a picturesque walk along the Finley River Trail south of the OC, a scenic bike ride north of The OC on the Chadwick Flyer, or jog on one of our soft trails at the Bluff Springs Trails. Ozark Parks and Recreation has an extensive and ever-growing trail system, connecting Ozark one section at a time.

• Youth and Adult Sports Leagues 

• • The department organizes numerous sports leagues for youth and adults, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. These leagues promote physical activity and community engagement. 

• Fitness and Wellness Classes 

• • A wide range of fitness classes are available at the OC, such as yoga, Zumba, and aerobics. These classes cater to different fitness levels and interests, promoting overall health and wellness. 

• Special Events and Festivals 

• • Ozark Parks and Recreation hosts various community events throughout the year, including a mile long drive through holiday light display, holiday events at The OC, Indoor garage sales, and outdoor movie nights. These events bring the community together and provide entertainment for all ages.
